Scope and content

Hopes that Beaton and Sir Michael's meeting was fine. Sent a telegram to Ina Claire on the opening night and will send messages to Audrey Hepburn and Mel Ferrer when "Ondine" opens. Mentions other plays. Will send the script to Norfolk and Beaton should receive it by Thursday afternoon. Will also send two copies to Harold Freedman. Hopes Beaton is keeping up with his diary. Praises Beaton's diary for it's intimacy and lack of self conciousness. Wonders how best to organise them. Would like to see more and then they could brainstorm on how best to present the material. The three articles will be finished for Beaton's return. Manages to give his 'Hungarian rhapsody' the afternoons. She is very clever at what she does and she is a sweet soul. Hurt his lower spine when a bus stopped suddenly the other day. Hopes all goes well with Beaton's lecture.
