Had a wonderful evening in Tetonan. The High Commissioner had gone. Describes Mrs Fox as 'one of the most remarkable English women of our day'. Had a funny tea with the Khalif of the Spanish zone. Discusses the tea. The Khalif wishes to marry an Egyptian princess. Tetonan is the most lovely place she has ever seen, a 'white town cascading down a hillside'. Every morning she and David have an Arabic lesson and then the boys bathe. They then have lunch and then a siesta. Discusses various people she has seen.
