Scope and content

Misses Beaton sadly. Lists the guests of her Christmas party. Box's programme is to stay in bed all day and for everyone to come and talk to her. She nearly drove Vita mad last summer, requiring her constant presence. Has not seen Joe. He is lodging with David and is 'as noisy, argumentative and tiresome as usual'. Gerald's visit was a success. Discusses Gerald. Asks if Beaton will send her a tinned ham. Will speak to Maud about the money she owes Beaton for the Paisley stuff.
