Scope and content

Went to the opening of the Champs Elysees Ballet with the Duchess of K. When the Duchess got in the car, they realized they were wearing the same dress. Binkie's supper was a success. She sat with the Duchess on one side and Mme Massigli on the other, which was too much for 'poor Colebox'. Binkie has won John Parry. Dined with Emerald one night. She has a new young man called William Home. Is going to David's for Easter. Gives brief news of Paris. Had her wallet stolen when she sent Beaton a cable. Simon has gone to see "Adam Zero" with Sophie. Jimmy Smith has been told he can't sell his house at Bognor as it is being requisitioned by the Government.
