Scope and content

Has seen Margaret Case in person. Thought she was a horrible 'rude old bag'. Reminds Beaton that it is the anniversary of their Thanksgiving spent in Jamaica. He is sorry that the project they worked on came to nothing. Feels he is using his time constructively by setting up a business. Seems to have recovered from his summer depression. Feels like a different person. Feels so relaxed that even his 'chronic hypochondriacal skin condition' has gone. Is opening an office for art consulting. Eileen wrote to him about the Cocteau drawing, which worries him quite a bit. Left it in Beaton's bedroom in an envelope. Hopes Beaton finds it. Asks Eileen to let him know if he does, otherwise he will feel upset until it is found. Took Cecile and Nika to see "The Rothschilds" musical and it was boring.
