The publishers are hoping to get a favourable response from a few advance readers. Has suggested to his editor that he send Beaton some proofs of the manuscript. Asks if Beaton could send a copy of the manuscript to Lady Antonia Fraser. Hopes Beaton's sweet pea patch is blooming.
