Thanks Beaton for contacting Weissberger. Received three hundred dollars in advance, which helped his budget. Assures Beaton that he does not have to hurry to send material. Has not been able to do much diary work as business in connection with his play has been keeping him busy. Has been having an emotional crisis recently but it seems to be subsiding. Was sorry to hear about Beaton's mother's accident. Is not feeling very communicative these days. Feels that he needs to stop selling himself short. There is little news of New York to relay.
