Scope and content

It was nice of Beaton to send the pictures. The garden looks beautiful and Beaton has made her look wonderful. Wonders if she could have the negative of the one in the shop window. Could then have it enlarged and give it to someone. Has given Diana hers and she is going to write. Is keeping the two of the Kasbah and they will always remind her of a lovely time. Beaton must come back to conceive a new book. Is very bad tempered and stale and can no longer cope with the teas and cocktail parties. Enjoyed hearing from Muntz about her glimpse of Beaton in Paris. She was so pleased that Beaton was nice to her. It is pathetic to see how grateful she is for everything. Would like her if she had a different way of speaking.
