Beaton's letter was delightful and she loves the wicked Baroness photograph. Longs to see the book again. It is a pity it missed the spring publication. Beaton's description of the Cranborne garden makes her long to get back to England. Diana goes off on Monday. Gives news of other acquaintances and of her plans. Has had no word from the "Tatler" about the photographs she sent. Hopes Beaton does not contemplate becoming a soldier as there are so many already.
