Scope and content

Fears that Ashcombe is the large house. Worries that Beaton will think it very derelict and provincial after being in Paris. Has written to her lawyer and is bringing an action against Mr Borley. Asks if May 31st is a good weekend to see Ashcombe. Suspects that it is not. Alas, she will miss Elizabeth's wedding as well. Will be in London on Friday night. Is thrilled to think she "shall soon possess you with a hand on your hip - laughing on a wall".
