Suit brought by Elizabeth, Prioress of Broomhall, through Thomas Polsted, her attorney, in the Michaelmas term 23 Henry VII, against William atte Wyke, junior, executor of the Will of William atte Wyke senior, formerly the tenant of the Prioress, because he made waste, sale and destruction in the lands of the Priory by cutting down 34 large oak trees in Knolgrove and Hemsylle, each worth two shillings, contrary to the terms of William senior's lease from Alicia Burton, late Prioress of Broomhall. All of which William denies.
