Inviting FH to attend the sub-committee of the Heads of Departments in Group III of the Faculties convened to discuss computing needs and to draft a statement to be used in discussion with Brian Flowers' Committee. Basically, the committee will be investigating the possibility of making a case for a second very large computer system in Cambridge and I know Physics would value your presence and advice as another large user of such facilities.
