Needham is arranging a special meeting of the Faculty Board of Mathematics, probably in the week 5-10 Jul., to discuss the proposed Institute of Theoretical Astronomy (in the light of 8/2/5). Hopes Hoyle will be able to attend. The main problem with the proposal will be the relationship between the Institute and DAMTP. How does Hoyle envisage this relationship working, especially with regard to undergraduate teaching?
