Thanks Beaton for his "more than helpful" Christmas gift. The weather has been damp and dreary. His wife has "excelled herself in charity", sending him a hot water bottle with a hole in it and all of the Christmas cards for his cat, but none of his. Talks about how angry he is with her. His solicitor is handling the sale of some of his pictures. Does not know where he is going to stay in London. Thanks Beaton for letting him do his collection for Art & Antiques. Discusses his ideas for it. Must get back to London as he can "keep myself alive" by reviewing.
