Scope and content

Has sent a copy of his Polygamy and a Documentary on the Romans. Believes that WNG will not agree with it but hopes this will be done charitably. The Bishop of Grahamstown believes that JWC should resign over it. Is pleased to ear that St John's is to have a new chapel. Gives a description of a fire which destroyed part of the community and killed two people, the consequence of which has led to the break up of the latin school, which had only begun to reassemble after the fear of a Zulu invasion.
