Scope and content

Autograph letter signed to Mummie, Daddy, Nancy, Baba and Reggie. Written at 2pm on the same day as A/4/6. A film company have asked him to quote a certain 'star' of theirs as one of the few American beauties to go in his Book of Beauty, which would give him terrific publicity. He is also going to speak on Movietone for two and half minutes on Monday. He has had a terrific time with press reporters. In a note added later he reports that the private view was a success in so far as people loved his work. He hopes to sell more pictures. Fewer people came than he had hoped, though he was comparing it with London crowds, and it was a success for New York. Lists some of the people who attended the private view.
