Scope and content
Letter from Thomas Browne to Robert Lambert. Browne writes that, having received Lambert's account of the Ravely estate, he now has a better understanding of the circumstances surrounding the fall in rent paid there and how the revenue generated from the Bishop John Williams foundation was insufficient for maintaining the Bishop's scholarships and fellowships. Discusses his communications with Council members Francis Annesley, Baron Robert Price and Sir Robert Raymond, and the foundation's financial accounts.
