Scope and content

Thanks Beaton for his letter. Asks him to tell him if Willa Cather is in New York, as he would like to write to her. His letter gave him such enjoyment. Has been in bed recently and has been visited by various people. Asks for the address of Beaton's new flat. Longs to see New York again. Edith Olivier's book is a great success. Goes to Germany at the end of this week.
