Scope and content

Thanks FH for his 'thoughtful letter' about Alaskan land use, and about their television series. His observations about the 'impact of environmental groups' would 'strike a responsive chord with a large number of Alaskans'. Found his observations on the U.S. Park System 'refreshing', and finds his description of the British parks 'provides an alternative model which makes good sense'. Is sending his letter to Terry McWilliams, Director of Parks for the State of Alaska. Their D-2 Lands television forum series is just getting underway, and they hope the first broadcast will be in August, and expect it to run for about 2 ½ months. Asks if FH would participate in one of the programs.
