Scope and content
Did not know that 'carbon in a volatile form' had been recovered from the upper atmosphere, but wonders if it couldn't have got there from the lower atmosphere. Did FH know that most bacteria 'pass into the spore form if the environment is hostile', and that they are easy to kill in this form? Perhaps the only bacterium that can survive in the air is that of tuberculosis. Asks how long FH thinks viruses survive in interstellar space, as he feels that there is a 'limit to the years a virus can remain potent in vacuo'. He will not bother FH with further 'emissions', but would be interested to read anything he publishes on the subject.
