Scope and content

Was delighted to see in last week's Time magazine that FH is 'championing the cause of Jocelyn Bell Burnell, whose pulsar work was so hurriedly absorbed by Hewish in what I think an act of gross malpractice'. The issue is less about Bell Burnell herself that about 'the nature of professional integrity'. Mentions Rosalind Franklin's work on DNA a another example of women being the 'dog's-body in affairs of claim-jumping'. Her 'planet-poem cycle' is nearly complete, is including Bell Burnells discovery under the 'Pulsar' entry in the glossary.
