Scope and content

Typescript article on the subject of 'taste'. Beaton writes that taste is always radical; it cannot be recognised, but there is a hidden logic to it. Good taste can be cultivated to a certain extent through studying, however, taste is an instinct and some people are simply born without it. As there is no obvious modern example of good taste in architecture or interior design, the time is right for invention. Written for 'House Beautiful' magazine.
