Scope and content
Corrects the Junior Dean's bewildered account of the rooms he occupied. He was in Third Court on the first floor of the staircase on the right as you cross the river, and his bedroom window opened onto the Bridge of Sighs. Arthur Holmes had the corresponding room of the staircase on the left. Whelpton was on the same floor and H. Collins in the garret. Speechly was only in College during his first year (1855-56). His successor was Smith. Mr Barlow's father had rooms in First Court on the same floor as his great friend D De Castro. Edward Little, brother of J.R. Little was on the same staircase.
