Leather-bound proof copy of 'King Bulbous: a comic opera for schools and classes', written by P.H. Crib and composed by Henry Festing Jones (published by Novello, Ewer and Co., 1897). Annotated and inscribed 'Henry Festing Jones. 18 Nov. 1897'. Two related press cuttings, from The Times of 6 May 1902 and Pall Mall Gazette of 17 January 1896, are pasted in at the front of the volume. At the back is a handwritten list made by Henry Festing Jones, of people to whom copies of the work were given.
