Thanks Beaton for his letter. Jane was always grateful for Beaton's letters and postcards. She always used to say that she must write to Beaton, but towards the end writing became impossible for her. She had a peaceful end. Beaton was 'a dear' to write to her so often. Hopes Beaton has as many happy moments as Jane did.
