They were enchanted and touched by Beaton's gift of "delightful and witty Oscar". It's odd that it still appeals although the style is out of date. Is delighted Beaton likes the idea of the bathroom décor. Has found a book called "Their Majesties' Court 1906". They have fantastic names and their dress and poses are full of absurdities. There have been alternate gales and spring weather since Beaton left. His mother bleats about "hateful London". Work has begun on Mary's bedroom and sitting room. Sends love from them both.
