Says it was wonderful to receive that "grand long letter". He must have had a divine vacation with Peter. Says there has been so much going on that every time she thinks of writing she is "swamped" with the idea. Tells him about the "Mercedes-Garb" business. Explains that Val has got a break at MGM. Is desolate that the censors in England wouldn't let "Red Headed Woman" by. Informs him that Eddie Foulding left the studio after a party in which two girls were taken to hospital. Asks him not to spread the story. Tells him about the Davies story and that Zoe and Hugh are writing a play together. Says that Jobyna is getting quite a few breaks. Describes Jean Harlow as "divine". Hopes he will come out this winter. Has sent him a book which she hopes he has received.
