Apologises for the late reply to FH's letter. Has not been able to find out much about Babcock's seeing monitors. Will not be able to do so without asking Babcock, which he has not done on account of FH's 'injunction to keep [his] interest secret'. 'Cannot divine what [FH is] up to'. Has little scientific news. Observed several new chains and groups of galaxies at Palomar, and has observed the companions close to I2Q0051+12 and IIIZW0008+10. The companion of the latter has z~0.089; hasn't yet measured the former.
