Scope and content

Congratulates Glover on his election to the office of Public Orator. Hopes that Ellis will stay at school taking special subjects rather than go to work at his brother-in-law, Francis Wootten's motor works at Oxford. Writes that to this end he has offered to remain at the Mental Hospital. Wishes his sons, Ellis and Charlie, to be baptised and become members of the Baptist Church, but visit both Anglican and Roman Catholic Churches occasionally. Hopes that Mr Asquith will return to parliament. Asks Glover to post some letters to his mother and Mabel for him.
