Grant by Richard Bataille of Estcote in the parish of Wonekefeld [Winkfield] to Master Radulfus de Hecham [Ralph de Heyham], chancellor of Salisbury, of all the land which he bought of Robert de Broc and Agnes his wife in the manor of Chabeham [Chobham] and called Fremesham, and of all the land bought of Alicia the daughter of Richard de Ernham in the same manor, together with the services etc. To be held at a yearly rent of one penny and by the service due to the lord in chief. If the Chancellor or his heirs suffer any loss through the transaction, Richard will make it good by a gift of his better land at Estcote. And the Chancellor paid him 20 marks entry fine.
