Prioress: Alicia [Alice] Burton
Grant to Thomas Newton, gentleman, and Alicia his wife, two fields and a croft of arable land in Chabeham [Chobham], called Langehurst(es), for 20 years from Michaelmas last past at a yearly rent of six shillings and eight pence at the Annunciation and Michaelmas, with suit of court once a year. If the rent is a fortnight in arrears, the Priory may distrain. And the grantees shall neither distrain upon, nor lay waste the oaks and other trees growing on the fields and croft, unless to repair the enclosures and even then only under the supervision of the Priory's bailff.
