The scholars were to be chosen from the four Williams foundation scholars at Westminster School, London, two of these being from of Wales and two from Lincolnshire; in default, from the Liberties of Westminster. The fellows were to be chosen from the Williams' St John's College scholars, one being from Wales or in default from Lincolnshire or the Liberties of Westminster, or in default from any in St John's formerly of the foundation of Williams scholars.
The two fellowships were vacated in 1644 and 1645, and no successors were elected.
