  • Robins exhibitions funded by £600 left to the College for this purpose (used to buy lands at Woodchurch, Kent), one of several bequests for a number of purposes
  • Symonds exhibition: clause in will establishing the exhibition (1704) survives in letter to Sir Humphrey Gower into which it was copied
  • A volume containing by-foundations and elections kept by James Wood and Ralph Tatham.
  • Thurlin scholarships founded by will which also bequeathed money to purchase advowson, with other bequests. The advowson purchased was Lawford and the will is catalogued with other items relating to that living
  • Robert Wood scholarships funded by gift to College (1660) of land in Barnwell, Cambridgeshire
  • Hare scholarships (later exhibitions) founded by gift of Sir Ralph Hare of advowson of Cherry Marham, Norfolk.
  • Letter enclosing a case, Robert Lambert, St John's College Bursar to the London Cutlers' Company, regarding Buck's exhibition, 1723 (catalogue entry in currently in draft - ask Archivist for details)
