Note
Books kept by Lady Margaret Boat Club presidents. The club was known as the Lady Margaret Boat Club (LMBC) at least from the mid-1830s (see the President's Book for 1836), but the covers of the President's Books 1825 and 1837 are both gold-stamped 'Johnian Boat Club'. Despite nominal differences, there remained institutional continuity throughout.
