Indenture whereby William Craven, Master, and the Fellows and Scholars of St John's College lease to Charles Ballard of New Windsor, Esq., a cottage with a yard and a garden in New Windsor, lying in Moor or Park Street, for 40 years at a yearly rent of £1, 2s 0d. The tenant is to do the repairs. The College can come and see that all is set in order twice a year. And the lessee stands bound in £100.

3s 6d stamp.
Many pencil erasures, and the name of the lessee has been altered to that of Richard Lovegrove, fruiterer; perhaps as a draft of a new lease of the premises.
Attached by the seal-tag is a map on parchment of the College property in New Windsor, dated 24 November 1794
