Robert Holitreeholm, clerk, of Beverley, gave 18 June 1525, £120 (received that Easter Term, see SJAR/1/1/Metcalfe/1/8, fol.55) to endow one fellowship , of equal standing and income with those of the Foundress, to be nominated by the donor for his lifetime; to be a priest or ordained so within 12 months of election, and to sing and say mass for the donor’s soul, those of his parents, ancestors, benefactors and all Christian souls; with preference to those graduates born in Beverley, or in default in somewhere in Yorkshire near to Beverley.
