Grant by Richard the clerk, the son of Nicholas le Carpenter of Braye [Bray], to Robert the son of Robert Beneyt of Wenekefeld [Winkfield], for a payment of 5 marks, of a yearly rent of 5 shillings and 8 pence halfpenny, which he used to exact from Adam ate Styele of Warefeld, that is to say, various sums from the following persons: Alexander le Poleter; Alicia the wife of William le Poleter; John and Cecilia le Covent; Bartholomew Chapman; for the holdings which they held of him at Westle in the parish of Winkfield; to be held of the lords, together with the land in the same fee which Richard had granted to Robert in the same parish by service due.
