This document was formerly stored in Drawer 13, the rest of the contents of which were mediaeval deeds of Broomhall Priory. It could be speculated that it was there because other persons with the surname 'Crouch' were tenants of Broomhall, so perhaps this document found its way into Broomhall's custody through that connection. Note that 'Evesham' is not a misreading of 'Egham'
