Archival history

The notebook came into the Archive with the papers of the Rev Charles Taylor, Master (1881-1908). It was given to Taylor by Mr Bramley S Dalby the Headmaster of Weybridge School. Dalby believes the book may've belonged to the Rev Thomas Spyers a Johnian who had held the role of Headmaster before Dalby.

The inside cover bears an inscription outlining the history of the notebook as well as a note to Charles Taylor from Dalby.
