Scope and content

Has been in hospital since March 20 with a broken right wrist and thigh. Can type now with her left hand. Some "trick of light" has made her hair come out white in the photos, instead of mid to lightish brown. Asks if it would be possible to alter this, or wait until his camera "has had another look at it". It is kind of Beaton to offer her one. Asks which he prefers. The only current photographs that give her pleasure are those of her "split femur stuck together with a long pin". Fears she will be in the hospital for 3 or 4 weeks more.
