Scope and content

Enloses letter from Tony Guthrie and his reply. Is determined to do everything to tempt Tony even if they must wait until May. The combination of Tony and Beaton would be a 'magnificent' team and would be good for "The Gainsborough Girls". Tony Guthrie's letter states his interest in the play, but also that he is not free at the moment to produce it as he is doing a project for the Arts Council and then going to Australia. Beaumont replies that he and Beaton are doing everything possible to 'entice' him to do the play. He suggests doing the play when Guthrie gets back from Australia.
