Thanks Beaton for his kind letter. The stroke is a great bore as it holds up his work for at least a month. Is sorry that he has been ill too. Feels John and Gillian have made a frightful mistake in going to live at Monte Carlo. John will be bored to tears without anyone to laugh with or laugh at his jokes.
