Scope and content

Wearing Beaton's clothes was one of the joys she looked forward to when she agreed to do Co-Co. When she heard they were going to cut people out of the cast she pulled out. Has heard that Beaton may not be in New York at the same time as her as he is feeling ill. Wants to tell Beaton "from the horse's mouth" that it is not true that she did not want Beaton to do the clothes. Without his clothes and sets "they would have had a very sorry vehicle". She goes to Portugal before the year is out. If she stops in England she hopes to have the pleasure of seeing Beaton. Wishes him "a joyous heart and a sense of complete well-being".
