It is easy to reminisce about their associations at Vogue because of the special character of Beaton's photographs. It is extremely difficult to differentiate between the work of younger photographers. Beaton's "good taste and elegant composition combined with your own particular touches of ultra-feminine chi-chi" means that he has not been successfully imitated. Would be glad to work with him on layouts for his book. Has always loved and admired the things he has done.
