Scope and content

Mrs Chase has been in touch and would like to reinstate Beaton in American Vogue. Discusses a feathre on the Royal Family which he could do. Perhaps he could ask the Queen to take some pictures in practical clothes as a contrast to the pre-war pictures which were in a more "luxurious vein". He could also show pictures of the princesses staying in England as a propaganda piece. Would like Beaton's suggestions. Wonders if he could do a Spotlight feature including notable stage, screen and musical events, as well as photographs of women doing war work.
