Scope and content

Is sorry he did not see Beaton. They are pleased with his Tyneside photographs. Understands that Beaton is anxious to have copies of some of them. Beaton must be patient about this, as they are to form an important part of Mr Pritchett's book and they do not want any of them put into circulation until the illustration of the book has been settled. Is hoping to soon have ready the outline of suggestions for the photographs of nurseries and hospitals which they are discussing with the Ministry of Health. At the moment the overseas trip is not practicable. Hopes to have news for Beaton soon about special shows of his work.
