Provides excuses and apologies for not having written before. Discusses second edition of the book ("Cecil Beaton's Scrapbook"). Discusses the royalties of the book. Have printed 1250 copies of the book and the American copies are going over on the Queen Mary next Wednesday. Is glad that the book has been a success in America. Discusses changes made to the book due to Scribner's 'ultimatum' regarding time of delivery. The binding will have to be plain. Extended description of the exhibition of the artwork for the book. There was a 'pleasant note' about it in the "Weekly Sketch" and a photograph in "The Bystander". Is going to send Beaton some photographs of the exhibition.
