Informs Beaton that he and George Plimpton are organising a project for television involving the work of photographers. The photographer is to select material of his own limited only by the law and the fifteen-minute timeslot. Explains the advantage of the project in allowing the photographer's work to be seen by a wide audience and for new or unseen material to be shown. Asks Beaton if he would be interested in taking part. Suggests that they meet up if he comes to New York in the fall.
