Scope and content

Thanks FH for his 'breathtaking synthesis of the order and creativity which are the essence of the 'one science'' last night. Is not scandalized by the idea that we might be 'the product of advanced intelligences from elsewhere in the cosmos'. But thinks it could possibly be tied into Christian theology. Suspects he has made 'as many scientists uncomfortable as laymen to whom you have given comfort'. Even 'the Times man' couldn't be snide. Asks for a text of the lecture, and for a signature as 'an heirloom' for Anthony and his grandchildren.
