Thanks FH for the copy of his reply to Gordon Moir's review of On Stonehenge. Encloses a copy of a letter to Nature (41/2/17). This summer, 'an adventitious discovery' has shown that the Heel Stone was preceded by an earlier stone standing a short distance to the North West. His research assistant, Clive Ruggles, has been working on Thom's 'alleged lunar sites'. Asks if FH will be one of the referees for an application to the Royal Society for funding to extend Ruggles' work.
